helping Ullapool produce less waste

Ullapool Unpacked C.I.C. is a social enterprise set up to help our community produce less waste.
Formed in April of 2019 by Evie Strange, we have done this in a number of ways, most recently through a pop up shop in the Local Village Hall.

What does zero waste mean?

Currently, only 9% of plastic is actually recycled, so we know recycling isn’t always the solution. This means the key to sustainable living must be in reducing the amount of waste we produce, to begin with.

Refuse

Reduce

Borrow from friends/neighbours/family where you can.

Reuse

Recycle
